The Women's Alliance has been a part of the life of the UU Congregation since early in its existence. Purposes of the group include: developing ties between all the women of the Congregation through monthly meetings devoted to intellectually stimulating progrms, social events and educational and cultural events; fostering community in the wider Congregation by organizing and presenting fellowship activities, celebratory receptions, fundraisers and communal meals; supporting the Shared Ministry program, raising funds for special projects and equipment; and contributing to the welfare of the Naples community.
The Alliance is organized as a separate entity under the umbrella of the UU Congregation of Naples. The group is governed by elected officers acting under Alliance by-laws and is supported by dues determined by the members. Membership is open to all women of the Congregation.
Meetings for the upcoming year are scheduled for the third Monday of each month at noon.
